If you’re a Wedding or Event Planner juggling back-to-back celebrations this summer, we see you. Q3 is execution season, and holiday gifting probably feels miles away, especially when it's 90 degrees here in New England. But here's the thing: the brands, businesses, and planners who don’t scramble in November are the ones already setting up their Q4 gifting strategy now. Even a simple email to let us know you're interested is enough to get you on our radar AND our production calendar.

At Lavender + Pine, we make it easy for you to plan ahead, even if you're in full-blown wedding mode. Let us take the lead so you can stay focused on what you do best. Here's why now is the time to start the conversation.

Why Q3 Is Critical for Custom Gift Timelines

Custom gifting isn’t a last-minute project, it’s a process. From initial design to sourcing and final assembly, each stage takes time. When a gift design is being created, there are decisions that happen along the way like product swapping, budget adjustments and rounds of approvals. Many situations that rely on other people to get back to us with responses. We're also juggling with a myriad of deadlines, cutoffs, schedules and holidays sprinkled in Q4. Here’s a quick look at what happens behind the scenes:

  • Design & Strategy (2–4 weeks): Whether you're envisioning high-end corporate gifts, client thank-you or welcome boxes, or branded holiday sets, Q3 gives us the runway to collaborate on your vision without rushing. We like to to avoid tight timelines so there's no added pressure for our clients.

  • Product Sourcing (2–3 weeks): We partner with big brands, small businesses and artisan makers, many of whom have their own holiday cutoffs and production/fulfillment schedules. Early ordering ensures we can get the exact items you want.

  • Production & Fulfillment (1–2 weeks): Our fulfillment team handles everything from packaging to handwritten notes. Getting on the schedule early means your gifts go out on time, without stress.

Pro Tip: For fully custom gifts, starting the conversation in July–August gives you the most flexibility in terms of design and product availability.
