Whether you're planning a wedding, hosting a client workshop, or organizing a milestone celebration, gifting is often the last thing on your checklist, until it’s urgently not. The good news? With the right gifting partner, "last-minute" doesn't have to mean rushed or low quality.

But let’s be clear: “last-minute” isn’t instant. Even the quickest gifting solutions involve fulfillment time, transit time, and essential quality checks. Here’s how we help planners, clients, and corporate teams navigate the gift scramble with grace.

Last-Minute Gifting Isn’t Instant (and That’s a Good Thing)

Even when your timeline is short, high-quality gifting does take a few essential steps:

What Goes Into "Last-Minute" Gifting:

  • Fulfillment Lead Time: Sourcing products, printing branded items, and assembling the gifts. When we're on a time crunch, we like to source from vendors that are local or within our region to avoid additional transit time.

  • Transit Time: Even expedited shipping can vary....carriers, and location matter. Another thing that people don't think about is the weather! Would you believe we check the weather on urgent and large scale orders? a snow storm, tornado watch, flood etc. can greatly impact timing and we have to be prepared to pivot.

  • Quality Control: We inspect every item to ensure nothing arrives damaged or incomplete. When ordering items in bulk, sometimes quantities can be miscounted, left behind or when fulfilled in multiple shipments, they can get delivered at different times!

  • Backups & Cushion: We always recommend a buffer window for possible replacements or issues that stem from any of the above scenarios because things happen that are entirely out of our control.

Waiting Costs You....Literally

When you reach out in advance, you have more choices, fewer fees, and total peace of mind. Here’s what waiting and rushing can cost:

  • Rush printing and set-up fees on custom items

  • Expedited shipping and service Costs

  • Limited Product Availability for preferred themes, colors, or vendors

  • Stressful Turnaround for Planners + Teams

💡 Pro tip: Consider reaching out to a gift partner as soon as you confirm gifting is on the table, even if final guest counts or logos aren't ready yet.

💡 Affiliate Tip: If you must go the DIY route, head to my storefront for last minute gift items and packaging for emergency assembly.

Real Talk: You Don’t Want to Sacrifice Quality for Speed

We’ve seen it all, damaged boxes, pixelated logos, cheap filler products from last-minute Amazon orders. It's not worth the stress or the refund requests.

Instead, let a professional gifting partner handle the rush, without sacrificing the quality you worked so hard to deliver in every other part of your event.

With a gifting partner, you’ll benefit from:

  • Trusted vendor relationships

  • Real-time packing updates and 1:1 support with a human

  • Built-in quality control

  • A team that knows the stakes

“Lavender + Pine pulled off a miracle for us last month. We ordered with less than 2 weeks to go, and every single gift was on-brand, on time, and flawless. She even added in CUSTOM French Macarons!!” — Event Planner, NYC
